As the rise in popularity of large outdoor gigs in the UK has grown, so has Caterfest’s ability to deliver. We believe that there is no other British company capable of delivering the width and breadth of catering service that Caterfest can provide. Working from portable units of varying size, and serving drinks from large scale bars at marquees, we have extensive experience in working with organised events around the UK.
No two events are the same, so we work closely with the organisers to make sure that we provide the right type of food and drink for the intended audience. With this in mind, we have commissioned a range of vehicles to satisfy your needs to ensure that we cater to your audience whilst remaining in character with the event itself.
Health and Hygiene
Naturally, with the wellbeing of so many people at stake, Caterfest take all issues surrounding heath and safety very seriously. In fact, we go beyond what is required of us by law to make sure that we have the highest standards in the industry.All Caterfest staff have a foundation certificate in food hygiene, with many trained to intermediate level. We also ensure that all staff are issued with the company health and safety policy. Prior to each job, a general risk assessment is carried out.
To guarantee the safety of staff and the public, we also make sure that all gas equipment is Corgi tested whilst all of our vehicles’ electrical equipment is tested to BS7671 + BS7909, 1998. In addition, we make regular inspections of our fire extinguishers and fire blankets to ensure they are all in order and ready for use prior to any event.
Sustainability
Caterfest encourages recycling wherever possible and we use biodegradable products whenever we can. We are keen to work with you to ensure that any cardboard or other paper based products used by staff are recycled, either at the event, or on a separate site. We also have a policy of using only paper based cups and plates to ensure that our catering has as little impact on the environment as possible.
